A glittery Christmas gift guide
Hi! I’m Jamie and I’m a member of the London Local Team. I’m also the designer/maker behind Grayjay Studio and will be selling my jewellery at the Etsy Made Local Christmas Market on Sunday 4th December.
I love gold because it has both a warm tone and a festive sparkle, making it the perfect winter accoutrement. And whilst gold has always been a classic Christmas go-to, I much prefer it in a slightly atypical form such as in alternative materials, finishes or mixed with a pastel palette.
Whether you’re looking for a shimmery gift or want to add some sparkle to your own party ensemble, here’s my pretty and embellished Christmas gift guide:
Wear all the metallics with a stack of these gorgeous art deco inspired perspex bangles.
I love colour blocking and these card holders do it right in gold and blue.
Shimmery leather and a minimal design join forces in these retro-glam earrings.
This tiny metallic hand bound journal comes in the perfect stocking filler size.
For a festive statement, I personally love mixing gold leaf with a soft pink.
The unusual sandblasted finish on this chunky ring creates a distinct look.
These gold fringed baby booties are just too cute.
For a subtle way to integrate a little bling at home, frame up a botanical gold foil screen print.
Gold doesn’t have to be all serious. This quirky pink champagne gilt teacup mash-up is very fun.
All of these designer/makers are selling their golden wares at the Etsy Made Local Christmas Market at Hornsey Town Hall 3-5 December 11-5pm.
I hope to see you there and shopping local this Christmas!
