Gift Guide for Minimalists - Christmas 2017 - London Local Etsy Market

For the Etsy Made Local Christmas Market 2017 at the Tooting Tram Shed and Social in South London on 2nd December 2017, we are bringing you a series of Christmas gift guides to help you figure out what to get for your friends and family. All of the products featured in this gift guide series are made by the designer-makers that will be exhibiting and selling at our market.

This week, we're bringing you a gift guide for those that believe "less is more" when it comes to style.

The Minimalists' Christmas Gift Guide

1. A set of gold stud earrings by Wild Fawn Jewellery

These earrings come either in a mismatched set (i.e. one bar, one triangle and one pebble) for those that like to mix things up. Or, you can purchase them in a set with two of each shape, for those that have a thing for symmetry. They're eco-friendly and so make a great choice of gift for people that pride themselves on their ethical choices. Also, aren't they just super pretty and cute?!

2. A raw brass necklace by Brass and Bold

This necklace is from Brass and Bold's "less is more" collection, which just about says it all! We think that the solid circle and hollow circle sat next to each other, gives it a little bit of added interest and quirk to the simplicity of it.

3. An embroidered fold-over clutch by Zuzana Lalikova

This clutch bag is made from a beautiful, natural cream linen, and embroidered with ultramarine blue yarn. We love the cleverly designed echo of triangles in both the cut and the embroidered shape formation. This clutch would look great with a simple dress or a block colour outfit.

Come to our Etsy Made Local Christmas market to discover more amazing designers, like the ones we've featured in this post. We will have over 40 designer-makers selling their designs at the market.

In the run up to Christmas, we will be sharing plenty more blog posts in the form of handy gift guides. Of course, there's nothing like going to the market itself. Going in person means making your own discoveries and finding your own new favourite local designer-makers. So, make sure you save the event in your diary.
