Ideas for Mother's Day

Mother’s Day is Sunday 26 March this year. If you’ve not had a chance to think about what to do with your lovely Mum, you have a month to plan something. Here are some ideas to get you started.

A day out…

Why not treat your mum to a day out at Columbia Road Flower Market in Bethnal Green, East London. You can pick from endless varieties of flowers and plants to spoil your mum and wander in and out of the various shops.

Then why not stop for a spot of light lunch and baked goodies from the Lily Vanilli Bakery or book a Sunday roast at the Royal Oak Pub.

London is always full of free museums and galleries – discover hidden treasures in the vast collections at the V&A or pay a visit to one of the Tate galleries.

Say it with flowers…

If you can’t get to see you mum on the 26th why not send her some beautiful flowers.

Any excuse for cake…

Does your mum have a sweet tooth? Pick a delicious cake from Victoria Yum, perfect for afternoon tea at home and a catch up with mum.

Get Crafty…

If you are looking for something different why not try a craft workshop. We have teamed up with Nanna’s in Highbury to bring you monthly craft workshops. Our first workshop is Felt Cacti, taught by team member Zoe Bateman of LadyBirdLikes and TooCuteToQuit.

These cacti will never need watering!
